Things to do in Anaheim and Orange County
Anaheim is home to Disneyland, the first Disney park. Orange County has grown since Disneyland was built and there are many other attractions. Knott's Berry Farm with over 150 rides, a ghost town and many other attractions is worth a visit.
For a day away from the parks, visit the southern Calfornia beaches. The spanish mission at San Juan Capistrano constructed in 1776 was the first location in spanish California to produce wine and is a great glimpse into early California History. Dana Point, an original surf boarding location, and Laguna Beach, an adorable community of beach-goers and artists, are two of many Orange County seaside towns worthy of some time.
Do you need some evening entertainment and dinner? How about trying dinner at Medieval Times or on a pirate ship.
Take a day cruise to Catalina Island, 22 miles off shore in the Pacific Ocean.
