Wall Street is near the ferry docks and worth a visit. You can see the stock exchange in action during business hours. Another nearby attraction is the Brooklyn Bridge which has a dedicated walkway which is very popular with local residents and tourists alike.
The tallest building in Mahattan is now the Empire State Building located on 34th Street. Rockefeller Center is just north of Times Square. Visit the observation deck, see live television at NBC, see tv show productions, an ice skating rink in the winter, and a performance at Radio City Music Hall, especially the Christmas Show, are some of the many things at Rockefeller Center.
